Tennessee State Convention Program Information

Dear Friends,

In this, and subsequent posts, I will be sharing the Tennessee State Convention Program.  I am thrilled about all that will be going on July 5-7, 2013 at the Murfreesboro Hotel and Convention Center, and I know that you will want to join us and be a part of a great event.

The theme of our convention is found in Hosea 10:12, "Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground:  for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you."

There is a real need of a REVIVAL of righteousness among God's people.  Not our own righteousness, but that born of a Holy Ghost revival among us.  The church is being caught up in the same sins as the world and there MUST be a difference.  God's people are called out to be salt and light to our generation, and unless we begin to sow the right things, destruction is eminent.

I often wonder if there are some local churches that God has removed His candlestick and we are fighting futile battle.  Unless the unused and unproductive ground is broken up and we begin to seek the Lord...disaster is the only result.

It is TIME to SEEK THE LORD!

Convention Reminder

Allison Durham Speer

We are pleased to announce recording artist Allison Durham Speer will be one of our special guests for the 2013 Tennessee State Convention.

Allison has an wonderful and diversified ministry from her musical talents, speaking abilities and design skills.

The Tennessee Ladies have become acquainted with Allison as she has ministers at special events in both East and West Tennessee.

We hope you have made your reservations at the beautiful Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Make plans now to attend!

Convention Lodging

In the planning and ministry of a State Convention, we are required by contract to book a set number of sleeping rooms to be reserved. From time-to-time, you may have other discounts that will give you a few dollars less than our rate.

While it may save you ten to fifteen dolllars for the whole weekend, it forces us to press harder to reserved the rooms.

Please understand that even the renting of rooms a the host hotel helps to reduce the overall cost of the convention. We appreciate any help you can give us.

Reservation Information

You may make your reservation at the host hotel for the Tennessee State Convention by using the group code COG:

Call 1-800-EMBASSY, or the hotel directly at (615) 890-4464 or make your reservation online at www.murfreesboro.embassysuites.com.

When making reservations online follow these steps:

*Enter dates on the hotel homepage (July 5-7)
*Select "Check Availability"
*On the left hand side of the screen, under Narrow Your Results select "Have a Special Code?"
*Enter the three-letter group code COG
*Choose room type
*Proceed with reservation

SPECIAL NOTE:  The deadline for the discounted rate is June 22, 2013.  After this date, the rooms will be released and the discount rate will NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE.

We are hoping everyone will be able to stay at the host hotel, The Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center will have a block of rooms reserved for our attendees.  The reservation code will be posted here once generated.  Hopefully, it will be available by the end of the day, May 13, 2013.

If you call the hotel without the reservation code, they will have no record of our rooms reserved.  Check back on a regular basis for this information, once released.

Also, I am expected daily posts to this site, and possibly at times, more than once a day.

I am praying for a real move of God in our convention.  IT IS TIME TO SEEK THE LORD!
